Our Story
Welcome to our pug blog, we are John, Sophia, Pig and Petal and we are the beanses. Pig was nicknamed Beans, when she was a younger pug as she looked liked a bean and was full of beans! Then we all started calling each other beans over time. You will see from our pug cartoon illustrations that Pig and Petal looking like beans. We will post pug cartoon illustrations on a regular basis showing the beanses, Pig and Petal on there fun pug adventures that relates to each post we issue.
Pig was adopted when she was 3 years old and we have raised Petal since she was a tiny puppy. She was so small, we could hold her in one hand. We are no pugsperts, but we have had many adventures with our pugs; from emergency room visits, moving homes and travelling across the rocky mountains. We now reside in Vancouver, British Columbia where we enjoy the pug life.
Pig and has lived 14 human years, that’s 98 dog years! I guess she’s a senior pugizen now. Pig is a very happy lady who loves snuggles with her favourite human Sophia and enjoys lots of sleeps and snacks.
Petal is 4, 10 years younger than her older sister! She loves hiking adventures, running the sea shore chasing waves at the beach with her favourite human John; meeting other new humans and of course eating cookies!
